Iran's foreign minister on Tuesday said the parties involved in the ongoing nuclear talks in Vienna could reach a deal "in the near future".

Negotiators from Iran and five world powers resumed discussions in the Austrian capital on Monday, aiming to restore the tattered 2015 nuclear accord. Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said as long as there was "goodwill", such a deal could be agreed quickly. Then-President Donald Trump withdrew the United States from the original agreement limiting Tehran's nuclear program in 2018. Trump also imposed sweeping sanctions on Iran, including against its oil sector - the lifeline of its economy. Iran insists the US and the other powers promise to allow it to export its crude oil as part of a new agreement.
