Iran’s FM visits Japan

On 7th August, Iran's foreign minister visited Japan for the first time since 2019 to meet his counterpart. He was visiting Japan, also made a courtesy call on Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

He met Japanese Foreign Minister with both hailing the opportunity to have face-to-face talks in Tokyo. The purpose of the visit by the Foreign Minister to the current chair of the G7 member country was not announced.
