



80% of the interior construction of the Inya Lake COVID Center has been completed on 2nd October as the second day.
For the convenience of accommodations for COVID-19 patients, Yangon Convention Center (YCC) will be used as COVID center and work implementing committee of the center is being made efforts to implement the Inya Lake COVID Center since 27th of September.
On 2nd October, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Phyo Min Thein together with regional government officials met with the well-wishers and responsible personnel of the center and urged to implement a better COVID center for the convenience of the patients.
Pico group is currently supporting for the internal construction of the center and Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association (MLCA) is taking responsibility for the external construction of the center.
Deputy Managing Director, Shwe Than Lwin Co., Ltd. (Sky Net), Tint San said" About 80% of the interior construction has been completed now and the construction of toilets and water tanks for the patients is under the process.
At the same time, a tent as a receiving area is being set up outside the center where we can receive the donations and necessary items from the positive patients’ family members.
At the moment, 50% of external construction has also been completed."

Su Yee Mon said "We are working our best to complete the interior construction on coming Sunday.
About 30 workers from Pico group are taking responsibility for the internal construction. There are some difficulties concern time limit - whatever it is, we will try the best as it’s a national affair."
About 500 patients, with 4 patients in each room will be accommodated at the center and necessary personal items will be provided in accordance with the medical standard.
In addition, medicines for patients, breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided on free of charge.
At the same time, a free Food Court will be included in the center for doctors, nurses, medical workers and volunteers with 24-hours services.
The IT Team is also assigned at the center for the convenient process of providing treatment to the patients.
Deputy Managing Director, Shwe Than Lwin Co., Ltd. (Sky Net), Tint San said "IT technology is really important to implement a better center. That’s why, respective team is drawing a software. We will give all patients ID bracelet that includes a QR code to check all medical information of the patients.
Health workers can give medical treatment to the patients by monitoring them through 24 hours CCTV services."
The Inya Lake COVID center is being implemented with the contribution of well-wishers including KBZ group, Shwe Than Lwin Co., Ltd (Sky Net), Waminn group of companies and Jasmine Co., Ltd. 700 million kyats from KBZ group and 300 million Kyats from Shwe Than Lwin Co., Ltd (Sky Net) are contributed to implement the center as quickly as possible.
At the same time, donor companies are supporting in respective sectors of the center, it’s learnt.
