Investment sector: Yangon Region Investment Committee meets

Yangon Region Investment Committee held its meeting 8/2023 at the committee office on 30th August. First, Chairman of the Committee, Yangon Region Chief Minister U SoeThein and Committee members Regional ministers viewed the display of product samples by companies.

Then the Chief Minister delivered a speech. The amount of capital investment is over 2.05 billion kyats and 14.775 million USD and it can create 9,216 job opportunities. In the meeting, Yangon Region Investment Committee approved one project fully invested by Myanmar nationals and 11 by foreign investment enterprises. 

Garment, wearing apparel, down and feather and shoes industries by CMP System were approved. The reports submitted by 15 other companies including 1 business to increase capital amount were also discussed and approved at the meeting.
