Investment Committee Meeting: Sagaing Region Investment Committee Meeting held

The Sagaing Region Investment Committee Meeting (10/2025) was held on the morning of November 25 at the Meeting Hall of the Region Government Office. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Sagaing Region Investment Committee and Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw, Region Government members, members of the Sagaing Region Investment Committee, responsible officials, and responsible officials from the companies.

First, the Chairman of the Sagaing Region Investment Committee and Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw stated that it is necessary for all relevant departments, including the Region Government, to collaboratively support and assist in attracting new investment projects into the region and in ensuring the smooth operation of existing investment projects without difficulties or delays. He also urged the attendees to actively provide suggestions and discussions on necessary matters and to emphasize efforts to increase the influx of new investment projects.

Subsequently, the Committee Secretary, the Director of the Sagaing Region Investment and Company Administration Directorate, Daw Sint Sint Than, explained via PowerPoint the implementation status of previous meeting decisions and the field activities conducted during October.

Following this, the responsible officials from the companies attending the meeting and the Committee Secretary used PowerPoint to present and explain matters including the application from Heli Myanmar Co., Ltd., a 100% Myanmar citizen-owned investment, seeking approval to operate a business in Sagaing for assembling, distributing, and selling various types of forklifts using the SKD system and the request from Great Sapphire Co., Ltd., which is operating a business of assembling, distributing, and selling motorcycles under 100% Myanmar citizen ownership, for permission to reduce and adjust the acreage of land in the invested area.

Furthermore, the members of the Sagaing Region Investment Committee explained the situations regarding cooperation they would provide in relation to the tasks they are undertaking.

Afterwards, the Committee Chairman and Region Chief Minister coordinated and integrated the necessary actions with responsible officials based on the various explanations, discussions, and presentations by the meeting attendees, and delivered concluding remarks.
