Investment committee meeting: Mon State Investment Committee held a meeting

Mon State Investment Committee held a meeting (1/2023) at Aung San Hall of the state government office in the afternoon on 28th April with the attendance of Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein and committee members.

At the meeting, the Chief Minister said the Mon State is a place of commercial hub and the industries with long term investment are being addressed by inviting the local and foreign investments. In the domestic good production industries, MSMEs are playing the viral role and those are needed to support and it’s required to build the economic basic foundation constituted with the investors in the state. As there are 54 citizens’ investments and 37 foreign investment, the job opportunities for the local people could be created.

Next, the directorate of investment and companies administration Mon state head officers clarified the procedures to be adopted in scrutinizing the investments in Mon State and the issues requesting permission regarding with the investment and the state ministers and committee members supplemented necessary matters. The chief minister coordinated requirements on the reports and gave a speech of conclusion.
