Investment Committee meeting: Magway Region Investment Committee held meeting

Magway Region Investment Committee meeting (8/2022) was held at the region government office on August 26 with the attendance of the chairman of Magway Region Investment Committee Chief Minister U Tint Lwin and committee members.

At the meeting, the chief minister said the state is implementing for the country to achieve the sustainable sector-wise development with available ways and means.

For the production development of the country, it’s needed to acquire more local and international investments, expansion of cultivation of the marketable crops by assessing the situations of international and regional countries, production of value-added products, putting efforts to manufacture advanced technological products, operating existing factories with full mechanical capacity and upgrading and penetrating new international markets for the products etc.

Next, the committee members discussed the submission of proposal to promote the production and shifting of work category which is an industry with cent per cent investment of Myanmar citizen and the committee members approved the ground survey works of the Magway Region investments industries supervisory board, it’s reported.
