Investment Approval: Shan State Investment Committee held its meeting

Shan State Investment Committee held its meeting at the State Government Office in Taunggyi on November 28, with the attendance of Committee Chairman Chief Minister U Aung Aung.

Speaking at the meeting, the Chief Minister urged companies to follow procedures and laws, ensure smooth office operations and undergo regular inspections. The committee then reviewed the application of Kut Khaing Khan Kyaing Company Limited to operate CMP garment manufacturing, phone accessories production and artificial hair and fancy goods manufacturing.

After that, a company official outlined the conditions for the investment activities, followed by the Chief Minister’s additional discussion on factory land, wages and workers’ accommodation. The committee members then reviewed the company’s proposal. The committee also considered Myanmar Pure Plant Extracts Company Limited’s request to relocate its business location for marigold powder production.

During the meeting, the approval was discussed for three Myanmar-based enterprises under Kut Khaing Khan Kyaing Company Limited, with a total investment of over 8,800 million kyats, expected to create 900 local jobs.
