Investment Affairs:Magway Investment Committee holds meeting 7/2023

The Magway Region’s Investment Committee held its meeting 7/2023 at the regional government office. In the meeting, Chairman of the Committee Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin stressed that for the economic development of Magway Region, efforts must be made to increase foreign and local investments in the region.

According to the economic chain, the MSMEs will develop. Investors must make serious efforts to complete the work within the specified period. In Investment matters to be submitted to the committee need to be presented according to the specifications and provisions of the Myanmar Investment Law.

Concerned departments should emphasize and encourage local and foreign investors to work easily in the region in accordance with the laws and regulations. The Chief Minister also called for cooperation to make the Magway Region a good business environment for businessmen.

And, the meeting discussed the proposal to extend the construction period of 1 fully local investment and the field service provided by the Magway Region investment activities supervision group.
