Investment Affairs: Commission’s meeting permits 3 new investment projects

Myanmar Investment Commission held the meeting 5/2023 on Friday at the Union Government Office in Nay Pyi Taw and was presided over by Chairman of the Commission Member of the State Administration Council and Deputy Prime Minister General Mya Tun Oo.

This meeting permitted 3 new investment projects in industrial and agricultural sectors worth 0.180 million USD and over 30,000 billion Kyats which will create 744 jobs. It’s reported that till the end of October 2023, the biggest investors in Myanmar are Singapore, China and Thailand, and main investments are made in energy, oil and gas and industrial sectors.
