International Youth Day Activity: U-20 Men/Women Volleyball Tournament commenced in Yangon

The Myanmar Volleyball Social Association Executive Cup U-20 Men/Women Volleyball Tournament commenced at Aung San Stadium in Yangon on 11th August, marking the 2024 International Youth Day.

The event was inaugurated with the opening remarks of the patron of the Yangon Region Sports and Physical Education Committee, Chief Minister U Soe Thein. The attendees later enjoyed the opening match, at which the Youth Camp (NPT) Team beat Mandalay Team with 3-0.

A total of 294 athletes from 7 Women Team and 14 Men Team are participating in the tournament which will be held through 21st August. The outstanding athletes will be presented 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th prizes as well as the best team prizes.
