International Cooperation: Union Minister receives Resident Representative of UNHCR

Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung on Friday received the Resident Representative of UNHCR Ms. Noriko Takagi and delegation at the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.

In this meeting, they exchanged views on arrangements by the Rakhine State Stability, Peace and Development Work Coordination Committee for repatriation and resettlement in line with the Myanmar-Bangladesh agreement, measures being taken in all sectors for the stability and peace of Rakhine State and the improvement of the socio-economic lives of the people in Rakhine State, undertakings by the National-Level Committee on Resettlement and Closure of temporary IDP Camps and cooperation on humanitarian aid.
