International Conference: Applied Research in Education

International Conference on Applied Research in Education 2025 was started on 9th January at the MICC-II in Nay Pyi Taw under the theme “ Navigating the Brighter Future of the Prosperous Society with the power of Education, Science and Technology”.

The conference focuses on knowledge exchanging, development of advanced education, education management system, learning methods, nurturing arts and science experts for the development of the nation, enhancing MSMEs through advanced research processes, the promotion of nation’s socio economic sector and many other comprehensive topics. Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe stressed the crucial role of education standard in a nation for the development of university research activities and applied research activities.

He added that holding international conferences will help the teachers improve their research capacity by participating in paper reading session. By exchanging experiences and knowledge,  the relations between Myanmar and international countries will be strengthened.

He also expressed his gratitude for the relevant individual and experts from Myanmar and international universities and organizations for the strenuous efforts to organize the conference. Then, the representatives from China, India, Russia, SEAMEO secretariat and Viet Nam gave congratulatory speeches respectively.

It was followed by Keynote address of the experts from Cambodia, Japan, Myanmar and the Philippines and special talks of the experts from China, India, Myanmar and Thailand. The experts and specialists from 16 countries are participating in the International Conference on Applied Research in Education 2025 which is set to be held from 9th to 10th January. A total of 133 research papers will be read out during the conference.
