Inter-ministry U-25 Men’s Football Tournament: Ministry of Home Affairs beat Ministry of Defence 1-0

With the aim for uplifting Myanmar’s football standard, fitness of all entire people and emerging new generation footballers, Inter-ministry U-25 Men’s Football Tournament 2022 was continued at the WunnaTheikdhi Sports Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

As the final event, the Ministry of Defence Football Team and the Ministry of Home Affairs Football Team competed.

The Ministry of Home Affairs Team beat the Ministry of Defence 1-0 and won Championship shield. It was followed by the Prize awarding ceremony and the Deputy Ministers for Religious Affairs and Culture presented prizes and cash awards to the best defender, the best Midfielder, the best striker and the best player along the event, individually.

Deputy Ministers for Sports and Youth Affairs and Deputy Minister for Home Affairs presented awards to the 4th winning Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs team, the 3rd winning Ministry of Transport and Communications team and the 2nd winning Ministry of Defence team. Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan presented cash award and championship shield to the 1st winning Ministry of Home Affairs Team.
