Intellectual Property Rights: Central Committee meeting held in Nay Pyi Taw

The Central Committee on Intellectual Property Rights held its meeting at the Ministry of Commerce in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

Committee Chairman Member of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Transport and Communications General Mya Tun Oo made a speech, stressing the development of intellectual property rights in the country, keeping abreast with the countries in ASEAN region and the world as a whole.

Practicing the IP rights, the MSME technologies could be able to hand over, benefiting the boosting production of the country. He pointed out to practice the IP rights system, aiming for socio-economic development of the people.

He called for cooperation of all concerned personnel in successful practicing of IP rights, contributing to the implementation of the economic objectives of the nation. The meeting discussed the work undertakings and sector-wise implementation on the IP rights.
