










An event celebrating International Youth Day 2025 was held at the State Hall in Loikaw on August 12th. The ceremony was attended by Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin, the Chief Justice of the State High Court, members of State Government, departmental officials, members of the State Youth Affairs Committee, teachers, students, young athletes, and invited guests.
First, the Chairman of State Youth Affairs Committee, Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin, delivered an opening speech. He emphasized that the government is implementing youth affairs policies to promote the holistic development of young people. The State Government is also making a concerted effort to help young people become talented and well-rounded individuals. He encouraged the youth to strive to become valuable and excellent citizens for their communities, regions, and the nation.
Next, the Social Affairs Minister read a message from the UN Secretary-General for International Youth Day 2025. This was followed by the screening of a video clip highlighting the achievements in youth development initiatives.
The Chief Minister, the Chief Justice, and the State Ministers then presented awards to young people who achieved outstanding results in sports and education.
The Chief Minister and officials took a commemorative group photo with the award winners and warmly greeted and encouraged the students, athletes, and teachers.
