Int’l Fans Join Pokémon GO Tour

Players from across the world gathered in the Chinese Taipei region for the Pokémon GO Tour, using their mobile devices to catch virtual creatures. The event returned to New Taipei Metropolitan Park after nearly six years, attracting both local and international participants.

Neil Mclellan, Scottish Tourist said "So I've come all the way from Scotland just for this Pokemon GO event. I've come all the way over to see lots of different people, all the different types of Pokemon you can get, and obviously boosted shiny (alternate colour Pokemon) rates are always fantastic."

This marked the second time the city hosted the tour, bringing together Pokémon trainers from across the region and beyond.
