Insurance Licenses Awarded: MoPF Union Minister awarded insurance licenses

The ceremony of awarding license to one domestic life insurance company and one general insurance company granted license to run insurance business was held at the assembly hall of the Ministry of Planning and Finance, Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 14th January.

Present at the ceremony were the Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein, Deputy Minister Daw Than Than Lin and members of Insurance Business Regulatory Board, departmental officials under the ministry of planning and finance, members of work proposal scrutinizing committee, officials from Financial Regulatory Department and the responsible persons from the companies granted insurance business license.

At the ceremony, the Union Minister gave an opening remark regarding with granting insurance business license and A Life Insurance Co., Ltd. and A Insurance Co., Ltd. which are granted life insurance company license and general insurance company license were awarded.

Next, the two insurance companies which are granted insurance business licenses expressed words of thanks and a video clip regarding the progress of Myanmar Insurance was screened.
