



Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn made inspections in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area on Thursday. First, the Union Minister inspected the community-based center (Pyinmana) and heard report on training courses and sports competitions the center conducts and organizes.
He also attended a books review session conducted by the Book Club of the community-based center (Pyinmana), participated with a discussion on the current situation of the country and measures to follow and provided gifts. There, the Union Minister also heard report on works by the community-based center (Pyinmana) in the year of 2022 and gave necessary instructions.
Also, he inspected the Nay Pyi Taw Printing House under the Printing and Publishing Department in Zeyathiri Township, heard reports on history of the Printing House, manpower and work process and inspected printing and other machines and storage.
The Union Minister also met with officers from the News and Periodicals Enterprise at the Nay Pyi Taw Newspaper House, heard reports and inspected the daily newspaper printing process. He continued his inspection trip to the Information and Public Relations Department in Tatkon Township and provided gifts to students before inspecting library, books arrangement and display of artifact in the mini museum and providing cash awards to staff. On the same day, the Union Minister met with officers at the Myanma Radio and Television [MRTV] office.
In this meeting, the MRTV Director-General reported entertainment, education and news programmes as well as plans. He also visited training for producers, met with trainees and provided cash awards. At the auditorium, the Union Minister met with those practicing news reading, presenting and mastering ceremonies and gave necessary instructions. Later the day, the Union Minister inspected the Aircon Chiller construction site and preparations at the Shwe Taung Kone Guest House.
