Inspections in Sittwe: Chief Minister inspects U Ottama Hall repair works

Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin in the capacity of Chairman of Rakhine State Natural Disaster Management Committee on Monday inspected repair works at U Ottama Hall in Sittwe Township destroyed by the Cyclone ‘MOCHA’.

There, after hearing report, the Chief Minister stressed that as it is a venue for national- and state-level ceremonies, the Hall must be repaired with modern and innovative designs and Rakhine cultural works and the repair works must be completed on time within the specified period.

The Chief Minister also made inspection in U Ottama Park, heard report and gave necessary instructions. Also, he inspected concrete block and handrail works on Mayu Road and called for systematic works and timely completion. The Chief Minister also inspected COVID-19 additional vaccination injection for governmental employees and their family members at KhineThaZin Hall.
