Inspections in Mogaung: CM inspects farms & plantation and provides cash

As Kachin State Government is actively working on local food sufficiency and development of agriculture and livestock breeding-based manufacturing within the state, Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan and officials made inspections in Mogaung Township of Mohnyin District.

During the inspections, the Chief Minister and party inspected a poultry farm in Yaytwinkone village and met with local farmers and cooperative members and called for collaborative efforts for the development of agriculture and livestock breeding sector of the state.

Then, the Chief Minister heard reports on yield of GW-11 paddy plantation and acceleration of winter multi cropping and regional development tasks including health and education measures and coordinated requirements.

Then, the Chief Minister provided 5.2 million kyat cash assistance to erect a fence for the cooperative farmland of the Kone Tan Kyi village and provided medicine to the poultry farm. Then, the Chief Minister attended the winter crops seeding ceremony and provided sunflower seeds, soybean seeds and vegetable seeds to the farmers and growers.

Then, the Chief Minister met with the local farmers in Taungni Village and provided 5 million kyats to erect a fence for 100 acres sunflower plantation and provided Urea fertilizer and vegetable seeds to the farmers. 

Then, the Chief Minister and party inspected the paving concrete of KyarIn 2 entrance road in KyarIn Village. They also visited KyarIn Village Baptist Church and donated cash for the church.
