Inspections in Hlegu Township: SAC Chairman inspects project site and historic building

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on Saturday afternoon visited the site near Nyaunghnapin Village of Hlegu Township where the Korea-Myanmar Industrial Complex(KMIC) project will be implemented.

There, the Senior General heard reports on matters including implementation of the project phase by phase, plans for construction of staff housing, buildings and roads, water supply and electricity access and land use.

In his response, the Senior General said that infrastructure needs to be prepared in advance in order to carry out the implementation activities quickly, agriculture and breeding activities and construction of hospitals need to be prepared in advance and the access roads to the project area need to be properly prepared.

And, the Senior General inspected the hall where the National Convention was held, heard report on repair and maintenance and stressed that the buildings where the National Convention was held are historic buildings where the 2008 Constitution was drafted and implemented, which is important for the nation. Those buildings need to be properly maintained, the Senior General added.
