Inspection in Yangon: Deputy Minister for Transport makes inspections

On September 24, Deputy Minister for Transport U Tun Lu inspected the operational status of the Myanmar Shipyards in Yangon.

During the inspection, the Deputy Minister urged officials to appoint a Safety Officer to oversee occupational safety, implement fire prevention measures, engage a Third-Party QC Team to ensure compliance with quality standards, and systematically maintain construction records. He further emphasized prioritizing vessel seaworthiness, ensuring high-quality welding craftsmanship, using electricity systematically, and carrying out continuous maintenance work.
