Inspection of universities: MoST UM inspected universities in Ma-U-Bin

Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw and officials inspected University of Technology (Ma-U-Bin) and University of Computer Studies (Ma-U-Bin) in Ma-U-Bin Township of Ayeyawady Region on 17th and 18th of June.

In the afternoon on 17th June, the Union Minister and officials attended and gave an opening remark at the clarification on the International Polytechnic Universities. Permanent secretary Dr. Sai Kyaw Naing Oo clarified the nature and possible advantages of Polytechnic University and replied the queries raised by the Rector, Professors, faculty members, students and parents.

Then, the Union Minister and officials enjoyed the tea together with the Rector, Professors, faculty members, students and parents.

After that, the Union Minister and officials inspected the Department halls, class rooms, Labs, library, Computer lab, status of completing dormitories and undertakings for the cleaning and good look in the University campus and fullfilled requirements.

The Union Minister and Ayeyawady Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung win viewed the dormitories, Recreation Centre, dormitory for single teachers, professor residence, associate professor residence, officer residence and gave necessary instruction for the future requirements after viewing the designs.
