





The Deputy Minister for Information, U Ye Tint, visited the MRTV substation in Taunggyi for an inspection on Monday. It was found that there was no damage caused by the earthquake. Next, the Deputy Minister met with the staff, discussed necessary matters, and provided cash assistance to the staff members including Chief of Taunggyi zone, as well as attached personnel from some regions within the state.
Later, the Deputy Minister met with the State Chief officer and staff members at the Information and Public Relations office, temporarily attached personnel, relay station zone officials, the In-Charge of sub newspaper printing house, and the staff members to discuss work-related matters.
He also inspected the office and community center buildings. After necessary repairs were completed and the facilities were deemed safe, he discussed the reopening of the library and training programs for young students, fire safety concerns, and the duties that will be assigned for the upcoming general election, ensuring that all tasks would be performed effectively. The, the Deputy Minister provided cash reward and foodstuff, it’s reported.
