Inspection of training centers: MoALI Union Minister inspected training centers in Yangon

The Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung inspected the Mechanical Training Center of Mechanical Circle (1) under the Irrigation & Water Utilization Management Department in Yangon and gave necessary instruction to the responsible officials in the morning on December 3rd.

The Mechanical Training Center of Mechanical Circle (1) under the Irrigation & Water Utilization Management Department in Yangon has opened 255 batches of training courses from its launching fiscal year (1974-1975) to September, 2023 and a total of 12161 trainees have been trained. Hydraulic Excavator Operator Level -1 NSSA Accredited Assessment in 2018 and Skilled Mechanic Grade (2) in 2020 were able to open and 282 skilled workers have been turned out to date. Similarly, at Hmawbi Workshop (A), the foundry worker level-1 and 2 assessment center was opened in 2016 and the 41 skilled workers have been assessed.

The Union minister inspected Plant Biotechnology Center of Horticulture and Plant Biotechnology Division under the Department of Agriculture in Mingalardon Township and gave necessary instruction to the officials concened.

Next, the Union Minister and party inspected display booths, Molecular laboratories, crops quality inspection rooms, tissue laboratories and the work implementations of Bio security level lab works and provided foodstuffs for the personnel.

Afterward, the Union Minister U Min Naung met with the trainees of personnel who serve at the Farmland Management and Statistics Department of the regions and states at the Central Land Records Development Training Centre in Taikkyi Township. At the meeting, the principal clarified the history of the center, acceptance capability of the trainees at the centers and the arrangements to accept more trainees and requirements.

In responding to the clarification, the Union Minister coordinated requirements and gave necessary instructions.

After the meeting, the Union Minister provided foodstuffs for the instructors and trainees and inspected the exhibition room of the training center and teaching and studying at the training class rooms.
