Inspection tour: Yangon Technological University & GTI (Insein) inspected

Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Myo Thein Kyaw visited Yangon Technological University on 12th May. There, he met the companies that are undertaking major maintenance and called for keeping long-term durability meeting set standard, supervising quality control timely completion of the tasks with set standard.

The Union Minister then looked into student dormitories, sports ground, canteen, teaching rooms and labs that are under maintenance for good characteristic of the University, greening and beautifying, physical exercise for the students and creating good teaching environment and gave necessary instructions.

In the convocation hall of the University, the Union Minister held meeting with rector, pro-rector, heads of departments, faculty members and staff and gave instructions on systematic teaching for the students, making researches, capacity enhancement, creating good teaching environment and beautifying tasks.

In response to the reports of teachers and staffs, the Union provided the needs. In the afternoon, the Union Minister proceeded to the Government Technical Institute (Insein) and met faculty members.

At the meeting, he stressed the needs on teaching matters for producing qualified human resources, preparations for reopening of the schools, admin affairs and good characteristic of the school and coordinated the needs on the reports of officials.

The Union Minister then viewed around classrooms, labs and work shops in the Institute.
