Inspection Tour: Work Undertakings at the Union National Races Village

Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs JengPhangNawTaung along with the Deputy Minister U Zaw Aye Maung and concerned officials on Wednesday visited the Union National Races Village (Yangon).

There, the Union Minister and party inspected completion of working processes for 2024-2025 fiscal year and future plans for 2025-2026 fiscal year. They oversaw the renovation of Union Hall, Administrator Office buildings and concert hall as well as electricity and water distribution processes.

Upon reports, the Union Minister and the Deputy Minister instructed the needs on timely completion of the tasks, meeting the set standards. Then, they toured around the traditional houses of various ethnic groups and inspected the preservation measure of the houses.

After hearing the clarifications made by the officials, the Union Minister and party instructed the needs urging for continuous preservation for long-term durability of the buildings without damaging original styles. In the evening, the Union Minister and the Deputy Minister met with the staff and delivered speeches. After hearing the reports made by officials, the Union Minister and the Deputy Minister coordinated the needs.
