






Deputy Minister for Information U Ye’ Tint accompanied by concerned officials made inspection at Myanma Radio and Television in Tatkone Township, Nay Pyi Taw on 14th September.
During the inspection, the Deputy Minister inspected the continuous Television and Radio broadcasting and power supply using generators due to power outages, accessing water to operate air conditioning system as well as providing drinking water for the staff housings using portable generators.
He also met with the staff and and gave words of comfort. The Deputy Minister stressed the continuous television and radio broadcasting, electricity restoration, constant broadcasting of awareness programs on upcoming Population and Housing Census enumeration and 25th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition as well as the systematic information delivery.
Then, the Deputy Minister encouraged the service personnel from Ministry of Electric Power who are making exerted efforts for the electricity restoration. On arrival at the press houses and printing industry in Zeyathiri Township, the Deputy Minister inspected the damaged water pump and equipment as well as the drinking water distribution to the staff housings.
The Deputy Minister also inspected the artesian well drilling at the Printing and Publishing Department.
