Inspection Tour: Union Minister inspects DISI in Sagaing Region

Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than who accompanied in the SAC Chairman the Prime Minister’s inspection tour to Sagaing Region, visited the Directorate of Industrial Supervision and Inspection in Sagaing Region on Sunday. During the meeting, the Regional Head reported on the efforts for MSMEs business development and private industrial registration activities.

In response to the report, the Union Minister stressed on providing the necessary technology, market and capitals for development of MSMEs businesses, to keep annually records of power usage in each factory or each industrial zone during the supervision and inspection of private industries to know the progress of industries, and to carry out the inspections in accordance with the rules of industrial inspections.

The Union Minister also pointed out the classification of private industries in 24 groups in accordance with the MSIC Code, carrying out the inspections systematically to the industries accordance with the rules and procedures and conducting the internal trainings to improve the skills of employees.  Then, the Union Minister cordially greeted with the staffs and gave necessary instructions.
