Inspection tour: Union Minister inspected preparations of vocational schools

The Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw made inspections on preparations to teach subjects related of industry, agriculture and livestock starting from 2023-2024 Academic Year at the Basic Education High School (Nyaung Hnit Pin) in Hmawbi Township and Basic Education High School (Ngarr Suu Taung) in Hlegu Township on Saturday.

During his inspection tour, the Union Minister discussed the aims at teaching of subjects related of Industry, agriculture and Livestock starting from 2023-2024 Academic Year for those who complete KG+9 education at 51 Basic Education High Schools in 50 districts according to the instruction of the Prime Minister, essential of vocational education and teaching programs. He also said that the government will provide assistance for the students, benefits after completion of vocational education, opportunities to learn continuously and matters on creating more job opportunities. The discussion was concluded with question and answer section of related departmental officials, teachers and parents.

The Union Minister also viewed the classrooms, teaching aid equipments and installation of computers. After that, he visited Ngarr Suu Taung Basic Education High School in Hlegu Township and gave necessary instructions.
