Inspection Tour: Union Minister for Energy makes inspections in Bago Region

Union Minister for Energy U Myo Myint Oo together with the officials from the departments under the Ministry of Energy made inspections in Bago Region on Friday.

First, the Union Minister met with officials and staff at the briefing hall of Pyay oil field and heard reports on oil production. In his response, the Union Minister stressed the importance of workplace safety, proper use of machinery, safety and fire incident prevention. After the meeting, the Union Minister provided nutritious foods for the staff.

And, the Union Minister visited the test oil field west of Pyay District and the officials clarified the geological and physical facts of the oil field. Then, he gave necessary instructions on their reports and provided nutritious foods to the staff.

The Union Minister and party also arrived at Tetut gas pipeline station and the officials reported the repairs works of gas pipeline and High Pressure Natural Gas Piston Booster Compressor. Union Minister expressed word of honour to the officials and staff for their works.

And, he gave necessary instructions on workplace safety, fire incident prevention and implementation of greening environ before providing nutritious foods for the staff.
