Union Minister for Construction U Han Zaw made a tour of inspection in Ayeyawaddy Region on Saturday. The Union Minister inspected the repair and maintenance of Yangon-Pathein Road – the works are being carried out by the concerned departments from Yangon and Ayeyawaddy regions.
He also visited Michaungtayar-Balgayatgyi Village Road construction site and heard report on construction process and plan. He called for completion of the construction project in time. Construction of the 2-mile long and 12-foot wide Road connecting Yangon-Pathein Road is expected to be completed in June.
Also, the Union Minister inspected the Pathein Bridge No.2 construction. The bridge over the Ngawun River connects the city of Pathein and the wards west of the Ngawun River. The bridge is 2380-feet long and 38-feet wide.
