Inspection Tour: Social rehabilitation and disaster management

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Soe Win inspected Social Rehabilitation Center in Yangon on 29thFebruary.The Center In-Charge clarified the current work implementations and the Union Minister stressed on conducting more rehabilitation trainings and organizing public awareness campaigns.

Then, the Union Minister and party inspected the office building, trainees’ dormitories and training hall and provided necessities. On arrival at Yangon East District Disaster Management Office, the Union Minister stressed for timely distribution of rescue aid to necessary places.

Then, the Union Minister inspected the construction of the brick wall and retaining wall of Central Store (Yangon) facilitated by 2023-2024 Fiscal Year Allowance Fund and provided necessary instructions on timely completion of the construction to prevent from drowning the Store and office building as well as damaging office furniture due to swollen creek in rainy season.

The Union Minister also inspected the rescue aid storage condition and stressed to emphasize the systematic storage in line with the directives and to deliver the rescue aid promptly to the places of need.
