





Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung visited and oversaw development projects in Mong Yawng Township , Mong Yawng District, Shan State (East) on October 6.First, the Chief Minister visited religious activities at the Sun Heing Cave religious area in Mong Hit Village, Mone Laik Village Tract.
He then inspected the temporary repairs made to the retaining wall near the Mone Laik Bridge on the Mong Phyat-Mong Yawng Road, as well as efforts to restore the water flow of the Namt Pone Stream to its original course to prevent damage to the bridge and gave necessary instructions.
After that, Chief Minister visited Tun Tauk Library, currently under construction with a government fund of 15 million kyats and enumeration of 2024 Population and Housing CensusĀ in Yebawhaung Village, Houng Kyant Village Tract. He also reviewed the ongoing population and housing census for 2024 and the completion of the temporary Bailey bridge on the Khokae-Paman-Wan Kaung-Wan Taung road, leading to the Datlon Pagoda.
Later, he inspected the progress of the construction of the Datlon Pagoda access road in Wan Taung Village. Following this, he donated 0.81 million kyats to the pagoda and paid homage to it. At the Bala Min Htin Hall, the Chief Minister met with district/township administrative bodies, department heads, towns elders, and residents.
During this meeting, he provided financial support, including 1 million kyats to the district/township departments and 30 million kyats for VDP (Village Development Program) projects for two villages.Then, Chief Minister visited a high school in Tat Twin to check on the progress of constructing basic education, industry, agriculture, and livestock breeding High school and provided 1 million kyats in support for teachers.
