Inspection tour: Shan State CM inspected regional development works

The Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye together with the state ministers, chairman and members of Kokang Self-Administered Zone Administration Council and state level officials inspected the worksite where the Self-Administered Zone playground has been renovating on 24th April and the Laukkai District Staff Officer for Sports clarified regarding with the playground and the Chief Minister gave necessary instructions.

Next, the Chief Minister and party visited Laukkai People’s Hospital, comforted the local people receiving medical treatment at the hospital, provided foodstuff and assistance, viewed around the hospital, provided cash assistance for the personnel serving in the hospital through the hospital medical superintendant.

Later, the Chief Minister met with the district and township level departmental officials, township elders and local residents at the hall of the office of Laukkai region head officer, heard the clarification of the secretary of the Kokang Self-Administered Zone Administration Council and pledged to fulfill the requirements reported by the township elders and departmental personnel.

Then, the Shan State Government provided cash assistance for the public service personnel who are serving duties in Kokang Self-Administered Zone through the secretary of the Kokang Self-Administered Zone Administration Council.

Later, the Chief Minister and party inspected Yan Lon Kyaing border gate facilitating trading and transportation between Myanmar and China and a small scale hydropower plant operated by Kokang Swe Company in Laukkai Township, Shan State (North) and a place planned to distribute electric power purchasing from China.

Afterward, the chief minister and party inspected Training School for development of nationalities youth from border areas under the Department of Education and Training of the Ministry of Border Affairs, heard the report of the principal, gave necessary instructions and provided cash assistance through the principal.

At 7:30 Am on 25th April, Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye and party attended the opening ceremony of new school building for Industry, agriculture and livestock breeding attached to the Laukkai Township Basic Education High School (2), opened the school building by cutting the ribbon, sprinkled on the inscription with the scented water. The principal presented opening ceremony commemorative flags to the chief minister and chairman of Kokang Self-Administered Zone Administration Council U Myint Swe. The Chief Minister provided cash assistance for the teachers, staff members and school band.

Later, the chief minister and officials opened the new concrete road connected the ward-3 of Kaukkai Township and Si Aw village of HtinPaKyaing Village-tract and inspected the road.
