Inspection tour: Sagaing Region CM inspected regional development works

The Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw together with the region ministers and region level departmental officials attended the ceremony of achieving full project estimation and handing over citizenship scrutiny card held at Khamti Township on 15th January.

First, the chief minister handed over citizenship scrutiny cards to the local Naga national races and awarded Medal of Honor and certificate of honor to the head officer and staff members of Khamti Township Immigration and Population Department and provided foodstuff.

The region ministers also presented citizenship scrutiny cards to the national races of Shan, Kachin, Naga and Chin individually and a local resident U Nyan Lwin extended words of thanks and concluded the ceremony. Afterward, the chief minister U Myat Kyaw cordially greeted the district and township levels departmental officials and local resident national races.

Later, the chief minister and officials viewed the issuing certificate of household list and citizenship scrutiny cards under Pan Khin Project and COVID-19 vaccination for the locals in Zee Phyu Gone ward of Khamti Township. Next, the chief minister and party inspected the firmness of guide banks to protect MyaTheinTan pagoda and along the bank of Khamti from the erosion of Chindwin River, good flow of river water and cleanliness in the river.

 In the morning on 16th January, the Chief Minister and officials inspected the completion of steel-reinforced concrete bridge which is 180 feet long and 20 feet wide spans on Nammon-HsinThe-Kachin Namthegyi Creek and coordinated necessaries for continued construction of bridge approach road.

Afterward, the chief minister also inspected building an earthen bund for HsinThe Village entrance road, site to lay concrete road, completion of education staff housing, cordially greeted the teachers and local peoples and fulfilled the requirements.
