Inspection tour: Sagaing Region CM inspected regional dev. works

On 2nd October, Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw accompanied by concerned officials visited Sasana Jortika Myo Ma Monastery in Homalin Township of Sagaing Region, donated offertories to the presiding Sayadaw and supplicated religious affairs.

Then, the Chief Minister together with the Sayadaw and officials oversaw the free weekly health care service near monastry administerd by the specialists from 100-Bedded People’s Hospital (Homalin) and No.19 100-Bedded Defence Services Hospital and gave words of comfort to the patients. The Chief Minister also donated 10 million kyat cash asistance to the sayadaw for the healh care service provisions.

On arrival at No.19 100 Bedded Defence Services Hospital, the Chief Minister and party provided nutrient foodstuff to the patients and coordinated necessities.

Next, the Chief Minister and party oversaw the demonstration of natural fertilizer application at a monsoon paddy model plot plantation in NarNone Village of Homalin Township and provided Yezin sunflower seeds to the farmers.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister and party inspected the fruit plantations and poultry farm initiated by State Economic Promotion fund at the Homalin Ward and cooridnated requirements on market penetration and systematic poultry farming to ensure local food sufficiency.
