Inspection tour: Sagaing Region CM inspected development works

On September 9th, Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw, accompanied by regional government officials and other relevant personnel conducted an inspection of the comprehensive road upgrading works from Yadanapon Road to the Stadium Road intersection in Sagaing Township.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister reviewed detailed reports on road widening projects, base layer repairs, and nylon asphalt paving operations for highway crossings on Shwe Minwun , HtuPaYon , and ZeyaMahn roads.  Based on the reports, the Chief Minister coordinated and fulfilled the requirements and inspected the road upgrading process.

Following this, the Chief Minister and party visited the Myo Thit Sewage Tank in Sagaing. After reviewing the reports on wastewater treatment facilities and the sewage system, the Chief Minister instructed that activities need to be conducted systematically to ensure a peaceful and healthy living environment and fulfilled the needs.

Next, the Chief Minister and party visited the Myanmar Red Cross Society’s mobile medical unit at LayKyunMyay Oak Kyaung in Sagaing. There, they inspected the provision of free medical treatment to local residents in wards and villages since August 23rd and warmly greeted the local residents and Red Cross’s medical staff.

Upon arrival at the 713-year-old Mingala HtutKhaung Pagoda, they inspected the area’s cleanliness and instructed officials to maintain the pagoda's integrity, repair any damage, and address the requirements.
