








Member of the State Administration Council Porel Aung Thein, along with the Kayah State Chief Minister, visited Bawlakhe on September 15th. During their visit, they met with district and township-level departmental personnel, calling for cooperative efforts with the local community to implement development projects and achieve peace, stability, and the rule of law.
Attendees reported on the progress of regional development initiatives. The SAC member and the Chief Minister also presented cash assistance and food supplies during their visit to a local military hospital, encouraging the hospitalized patients. On the 16th, the SAC member and party visited Min Kyaung Monastery and made donations as offerings.
They then visited the Bawlakhe District Police Station, where they met with police force members, recognizing their dedication to the nation and providing cash assistance and basic food supplies. During meetings with departmental staff, town elders, and local residents, the SAC member explained the objectives of the 5-point Road Map and the 9 objectives. The Chief Minister further elaborated on regional development efforts. Cash assistance and food supplies were also distributed during the meeting.
In the afternoon, the SAC member and party arrived at Hpasaung Township, where they met with departmental personnel, town elders, and the local community. The SAC member delivered a speech, and the Township Administration Council Chairman reported on regional development initiatives, with additional insights from the Chief Minister. Cash assistance and food supplies were distributed to the attendees. At the township People's Hospital, nutritious food and cash assistance were provided to the patients.
They then visited Mwe Taw Pariyatti Sarthintaik, paying respects to the Sayadaws and members of the Sangha from Hpasaung Township and offering provisions. They also visited Myoma Police Station, and provided cash and other assistance to the police officers and their families.
On Sunday, the SAC member and party met with departmental personnel and staff from construction companies in Loikaw. They heard reports on the construction of staff housing and allocation. The Chief Minister emphasized the need for timely completion of projects meeting the set standards, while the SAC member coordinated the necessary resources.
They inspected both completed projects and those under construction. In the afternoon, the SAC member and party attended a ceremony to release fingerlings into NaungYar Lake. A total of 225,000 fingerlings were released into the lake, with an additional 90,000 fingerlings provided to fish breeders from Loikaw and Demawso Townships. They then visited the State Fire Brigade Office, where they viewed fire engines and equipment used in firefighting and rescue operations.
