Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing made inspection on the repair works of damaged infrastructures due to the recent floods on Sunday.
They inspected the agricultural works and development condition along Meikhtila-Thazi Road. They then took a train ride from Thazi Station to oversee the progress of repair works at Samone Creek Bridge on Thazi-Mandalay Railroad.
Along the road, the Prime Minister assessed the thriving of plantations and damages due to the recent floods. A 90 feet long Triple Double Bailey is under construction for the damaged facility. Officials reported on the damages and plans for reopening of rail section.
The Prime Minister stressed the need to prioritize for long term durability with systematic management on proper flow of water, reinforced with retaining wall, and timely completion of the tasks. They then proceeded to Thae Taw Station by train, and made inspection on the regional development and agriculture works along Thae Taw-Meikhtila Road by a motorcade.
