Inspection Tour: SAC Chairman inspects development works

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and party inspected the Urban Development work implementations in Hlaingthaya Township.

They oversaw the drainage improvement activities between Aungzeya Bridge and MeeKhwet Market and instructed on systematic drainage system and growing shade trees along the road. On arrival at Bayintnaung Park, the Prime Minister heard reports on infrastructure of the park, area to hold events, parking lot, playground, swimming pool and arrangements for recreation areas.

At the briefing hall, Yangon Region Chief Minister and Yangon Mayor clarified the completions of urban development project implementations within township, construction of Hlaingthaya extended park and drainage improvement tasks to prevent West Yangon University flooding.

Upon the reports, the Prime Minister instructed on upgrading platforms, systematic greening and cleaning measures under urban development project, upgrading the township to meet set standards, creation of healthy environment and quality water access.

He also stressed to emphasize on better drainage system and green zone creation in line with the policies. On arrival at West Yangon University, the Prime Minister and party heard reports on condition of the students and assigning of faculty members in respective subjects.

After hearing reports, the Prime Minister instructed on cleaning and face lifting of the University, systematic construction and installation of classrooms, halls and other infrastructure and creation of better learning environment for the students. Then, the Prime Minister and party inspected the construction of new 3-storey main building and gave necessary instructions.
