







Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin accompanied by State Government members and departmental officials, visited Sittwe Airport to inspect cleanliness, landscaping, and security conditions. Then, they toured MSME businesses in Sittwe for support.
First, the Chief Minister and party visited Sittwe Airport, inspecting the cleanliness and safety measures of the runway, as well as general sanitation around the airport area.
They reviewed facilities at passenger departure and arrival halls to ensure comfort and cleanliness, advising responsible officials to maintain order and a welcoming atmosphere for travelers. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of organized cleanliness in entry and waiting areas.
Following this, the Chief Minister and party checked the security camera installations and security checkpoints for travelers, as well as the operations at the airport control tower, which oversees the safe landing of aircraft.
They also inspected accommodations being constructed for security personnel at the airport, providing instructions for any necessary improvements.
After that, the Chief Minister and party visited the MSME industry of “Sanpya Multi Cookies Bakery” in Sittwe’s Myauksanpya Ward. The owner clarified the production and distribution of cookies, the employment opportunities provided to local youth, and their storage of raw materials, and took them round the workplaces.
They also visited the BMG purified water factory in Pyitawthar Ward. The factory manager provided a tour of the bottling process and explained the factory’s efforts in production, distribution, and local job creation.
In response to the presentations, the Chief Minister coordinated requirements with the respective officials.
