Inspection tour: NPT Chairman inspected earthquake-hit buildings

Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Htun Oo visited several monasteries in Pyinmana in the morning on March 7, including Khemathiwun Monastery in Shwe Chi Ward and Ngwe Taung Monastery and Zeyyathein Monastery in Mingalar Ward. He offered cash donations and other religious items to the presiding Sayadaws and inspected the earthquake damage to the monasteries. He also observed the ongoing clearance and restoration efforts being carried out by military personnel and gave necessary instructions. 

Later, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman visited No. (1) Basic Education High School in Pyinmana, the Institure of Agriculture and Livestock, and No. (3) Basic Education High School, which were damaged by the earthquake. He assessed the destruction and distributed food supplies to those affected. 

Additionally, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman went to the Mingalabyuha Sasana Beikman in Pyinmana to observe the settlement of earthquake victims at the temporary shelters and provided support.
