






Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo, on June 21st, accompanied by officials, visited Pyinmana and Zabuthiri Townships and inspected the ongoing repairs of roads damaged by the earthquake and gave necessary instructions.
Next, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman visited the Uttarathiri Dam and inspected the emergency spillway construction being carried out with machinery, the temporary dam construction, and the repair of the water discharge pipes. Following this, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman went to Uttarathiri and Pyinmana Townships and inspected the repairs of main water pipelines and water supply pipelines that were damaged by the earthquake and provided necessary instructions.
Furthermore, on June 22nd, at the Soe Myint Mo Hall of No. 2 Basic Education High School in Pyinmana, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman attended and delivered a speech at an event focused on dengue fever awareness and community-based "Cover, Pour, Change, Filter" activities organized by the Nay Pyi Taw Department of Public Health, under the supervision of the Nay Pyi Taw Council.
In the afternoon, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman visited Yazathingaha Road and Tha-pyay-gone Roundabout and inspected the ongoing repairs of road sections and retaining walls damaged by the earthquake and gave necessary instructions. Subsequently, he visited the Yangon-Mandalay Union Highway in Zeyarthiri Township, specifically between the Pinlaung junction and Ai Zauk village.
He conducted a field inspection to ensure good water flow in the roadside drains. He then went to the Paunglaung Sports Hall in Pyinmana and met with the Taekwondo athletes who will represent Nay Pyi Taw in the upcoming Regions and States competition. He offered words of encouragement and presented them with cash awards and nutritional supplements.
