Inspection Tour: MOST Union Minister tours in Mandalay and Sagaing

On 30th June, Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw accompanied by concerned officials, met with pro-rector and faculty members from the Technological University (Kyaukse).

During the meeting, the Union Minister heard reports on renovation of the earthquake affected university buildings, condition of students, and preparation made for classrooms, offices and computer rooms.

Upon reports, the Union Minister instructed on systematic teaching and learning environment. There, the Union Minister inspected water and electricity access and student dormitories.

In the afternoon, the Union Minister and party visited the University of Computer Studies (Mandalay), and inspected the learning condition of the students at newly constructed classrooms, computer rooms, offices and preparation for football and futsal courts.

On 1st July at Technological University (Sagaing), the Union Minister inspected learning condition of the students, lab rooms, computer rooms and workshops.

On arrival at Myanmar Institute of Information Technology in Mandalay, the Union Minister inspected the renovation of main building and learning condition of the students.

On 2nd July, the Union Minister visited the Technological University (Mandalay), inspected the renovation of main building, instructed on face-lifting of the university, systematic classrooms and lab rooms layout and emphasized on provision of good teaching and learning environment, fulfilling necessities.
