Inspection Tour: MoST Union Minister makes inspections in Tanintharyi

Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw made inspections in Tanintharyi Region.

On the 12th of July, the Union Minister inspected the University of Computer Studies (Myeik) and attended a discussion on international polytechnic universities which also included a question-and-answer session.

After the discussion, the Union Minister joined a tea party with faculty members and students. And, the Union Minister inspected departments, classrooms, laboratories, library and cleanliness of the University.

On the 13th of July, the Union Minister also attended a discussion on international polytechnic universities at the Technological University (Myeik) which also included a question-and-answer session.

There, the Union Minister also viewed the design of Polytechnic University and gave necessary instructions. And, the Union Minister inspected practical rooms, machines, library, workshops, gym, sports ground and cleanliness of the University.

On the same day, at the Government Technical High School (Myeik), the Union Minister met with faculty members and stressed the importance of practical lessons and opening of courses suitable with the region. And, the Union Minister inspected the school.
