Inspection Tour: MOPF DM made inspections in Lewe

Deputy Minister for Planning and Finance U Maung Maung Win inspected Myanma Economic Bank, Internal Revenue Department and Myanma Agricultural Development Bank Offices in Lewe Township on 19th of December.

On arrival at Myanma Economic Bank in Lewe Township, the Deputy Minister and party inspected the operation of the bank and tasks implementation to increase loan amount and stressed to carry out the bank operation tasks in line with the existing laws and procedures systematically, to ensure the smooth withdrawal of pension and to conduct security measures for properties and information of the bank and called for concerted efforts of the employees to be able to provide effective banking services.

Then, the Deputy Minister and party inspected the Internal Revenue Department (Lewe) and provided necessary instructions on raising of tax revenue without increasing tax rate, ensuring fire security measure and encouraged to use modern technologies in finding solutions to increase tax revenue.

On the same day, the Deputy Minister inspected the Myanma Agricultural Development Bank in Lewe District and heard reports on tasks implementation, loan disbursement, reduction of loan arrears, elimination of misappropriation of loan and ground survey results. Upon reports, the Deputy Minister coordinated requirements and stressed on unity of the staff members and cleaning and greening of the office.
