









Vice Chairman of the Work Committee on the Development of a Resilient and Strong Social Community Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn and Chief Minister for Ayeyawady Region U Tin Maung Win on Saturday visited the Knowledge Center in Sarmalauk Village of Nyaungdon Township. There, they viewed the demonstration of seedling method using the Drum Seeder. They also presented the drum seeders and MRTV DTH sets to the farmers from five villages.
The Union Minister urged farmers to play their roles in an efforts for development a resilient and strong social community, as Ayeyawady Region is endowed with sound foundation for agriculture and livestock development. They then proceeded to the fish breeding company and observed the production process of meat and fish.
At the poultry farm in Alan Oat Village of MaUbin Township, the Union Minister and party inspected the breeding of broilers. The farm breeds about 155,000 broilers, creating job opportunities for local community. They then inspected the agricultural and livestock works, along Yangon-Pathein Expressway near Htani Village-tract. They also visited the Maubin Polytechnic University and presented the MRTV DTH set to the officials.
On arrival at Mingala Library in Lay Eain Su Village, the Union Minister and the Chief Minister made cash donation, MRTV DTH sets, books and periodicals. They then visited the piggery farm in Pantanaw Township, which distribute more than 1.8 million viss of pork to the townships within the region and beyond.
At U Thant Library, the books donated by the State Administration Council Chairman, Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife and families were presented to the Library. In addition, cash assistance, MRTV DTH sets, books and periodicals were also donated for the library.
