Inspection Tour: MOI Union Minister inspects factories in Kyaukse

Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than visited Kyaukse Industrial Zone in Mandalay Region on Thursday.

During his visit, the Union Minister observed the operation process at the factories running in the zone. He instructed for manufacturing the products with local demand, extended operation for creating more job opportunities for locals and boosting quality production.

In the afternoon, the Union Minister attended a ceremony to provide assistance to the staff families affected by the recent floods. Over 200 staff families from the ministry were affected during the disaster, and they were provided with cash assistance of 45.5 million kyat and other relief items. The Union Minister later visited the Home Utilities Factory (Minsu) and No.7 Garment Factory (Wuntwin) and provided the needs.
